Donations!
We are huge on donating to local rescues and would like to donate 5% of your total.
We'd also like to encourage you to donate to your local rescues as they continue to be in dire need of funds for food, supplies, and to provide medical care. Here are a few that are close to our hearts:

Our family fostered 35 dogs through SCARS in Edmonton from early 2020 until late 2022. We absolutely love what they do and we know they require financial help to feed and provide medical health to all the dogs and cats that come into their care. SCARS takes in animals from Edmonton, surrounding areas, and indigenous northern communities/reserves.
Our family volunteered by walking dogs weekly in 2018. This is how we ended up adopting our first dog together (Nashville). EHS takes in Edmonton and surrounding areas surrendered and unwanted pets. They require financial funds to house these pets, feed them, provide training & medical services.

Our family volunteered for a short time walking dogs and maintaining the facility when it first opened in Edmonton. AARCS operates in Calgary & surrounding areas, Edmonton & surrounding areas. Like many rescues in Alberta, AARCS is working overtime to rescue and help as many animals as possible.
The BC SPCA helps pets all over the province. Since we recently moved to BC, we do not have close ties with this rescue. However, it is a usual occurrence that a lot of pets make their way to the many shelters across the province. These shelters need to remain open to continue helping. We are hoping to eventually start volunteering through them.
