We are your typical, yet atypical, Millennial child-free family (for now) with 3 fur babies, but always wanting more. We rescued two of our dogs (Nashville & Ryder) from two local rescues in Edmonton, AB in late 2018 and mid 2019. The moment we adopted our first dog, Nashville, we were immediately dog obsessed. We adopted our third dog (Yukon) a few months after we had moved to the Sunshine Coast, BC in mid 2023. Essentially, my partner's and my life together as a couple have always revolved around our dogs, their health & wellbeing, and their nutrition. Our love for dogs, especially our own, has brought us together and has strengthened our relationship.

 

We decided to move from the frozen tundra to the rain forests of the Pacific Northwest and never looked back. We fell in love with the area and decided to make it our forever home. We traded the busyness of city living for more natural and healthy living. It was on the Coast where we fell in love with the world of fungi, particularly those with medicinal properties. The evergreen forests of the Pacific Northwest offer us edible and medicinal mushrooms all year round. Several mushrooms offer a variety of medicinal benefits to pets and humans alike. 

 

Furthermore, we have also begun to explore herbalism and the widespread array of medicinal benefits plants & herbs offer us and our pets.
